• Song:

    Hey Ya Acoustic

  • Artist:

    Matt Weddle

All the tabs i've seen have a capo and i thought it sounded better without a capo
so i tabbed this :)
In standard tuning, strumming pattern is fairly easy, you should be able to work it out :)

Verse One
E A
My baby don't mess around

Because she loves me so
           F# C#m
And this I know for sure
E A
But does she really wanna

But can't stand to see me
      F# C#m
Walk out the door
E A
Don't try to fight the feeling
                                     F# C#m
Because the thought alone is killing me right now
E A
Thank god for mum and dad

For sticking two together
          F# C#m
'Cause we don't know how

Chorus
E A
Hey Yah
F# C#m
Hey Yah
E A
Hey Yah
F# C#m
Hey Ya

Verse 2
E
You think you've got it
A
Ohh, you think you've got it

But got it just don't get it
              F# C#m
Till' there's nothing at all
E
We get together
A
Ohh, we get together
                                          F# C#m
But seperate's always better when there's feelings involved
E A
If what they say is nothing is forever
F# C#m
Then what makes, Then what makes, Then what makes
                                 E A
Then what makes, Then what makes love the exception
E
So why you, why you
A
Why you, why you, why you are we so in denial
        F# C#m
When we know we're not happy here

Chorus x 2
E A
Hey Yah
F# C#m
Hey Yah
E A
Hey Yah
F# C#m
Hey Yah
