Tabbed by Marcus Swan.

I've seen a few tabs of this great song around but they're all a bit off.
The song is played without a capo which makes it a bit more difficult than at first
but don't let that stop you playing it! There's a great live video of Mic playing this song
Youtube, Which I've taken the chords from that's worth checking out;

Chords

I've just put in the main chords as some of the shapes aren't whole chords or there are
strings being played

VERSE & CHORUS

        E-A-D-G-B-E

A 5-7-7-6-0-0-|
D X-5-7-6-0-0-|
C# X-4-7-6-0-0-|
Bsus7 7-4-7-6-0-0----------|

BRIDGE

B7/F# 2-2-0-2-3-0-------------------| (use your thumb on the base string)
Dsus2/G 3-0-0-2-3-0-|

STRUM
The strum is fairly easy; for the chorus hit the base note of the chord then strum the
chord Up/Down/Up. Play it a little harder for the Chorus. For the Bridge don't pick the
note and strum quite softly. listen to the song for the exact timing.

[intro/verse 1]

A D C# Bsus7 x2

        A D
For the sun, for the light

        C# Bsus7
For the ride and for the masters

        A D
Oh we come to be kind

      C# Bsus7
To be warm here and after

           A D
We've been out, but we're back

              C# Bsus7
Because we're graced in these matters

          A D C# Bsus7
And we'll rise.

[verse 2]

                    A D
And we did a little love, but we walked,

          C# Bsus7
We make a sound for the mesto

              A D
Make a little call to the right

       C# Bsus7
To the ball and to the mast-top

And we...

[Bridge]

B7/f#
...We fool around now and again, we're looking good

            Dsus2/G
But just as friends

[Chorus]

                A D C# Bsus7
And this is our heyday baby

                    A D C# Bsus7
And we're not gonna be afraid to shout

                       A D C# Bsus7
'Cause we can make our heyday last forever

                A D C#
And ain't that what it's all about, oh living,

   Bsus7 A D C# Bsus7
in our own terrible way

A D C# Bsus7

[Verse 2]

                     A D
And we lack a little love, but a sign

  C# Bsus7
A sign to get a little messed up

               A D
Picking up the rules, for the chimes

          C# Bsus7
Making up minds and making it last us

               A D
'Cause we live alone, and now we're grown

       C# Bsus7
And we know what we're after

          A D C# Bsus7
And we'll rise

[Bridge]

B7/f#
And we fool around now and again, we're looking good

            Dsus2/G
But just as friends

[Chorus]

                A D C# Bsus7
And this is our heyday baby

                     A D C# Bsus7
And we're not gonna be afraid to shout

                       A D C# Bsus7
'Cause we can make our heyday last forever

                A D C# Bsus7
And ain't that what it's all about,

[Bridge]

B7/f#
We fool around now and again, we're looking good

        Dsus2/G
Just as friends...

[Outro]

                       A D
So we have ourselves a break, and when we're done

       C# Bsus7
And we come to our senses,

       A D C# Bsus7
And we rise...

              A D C# Bsus7
Oh then we'll rise

                   A D C# Bsus7
'Cause this is our heyday baby,

            A D C# Bsus7
This is our heyday baby,

            A D C# Bsus7
This is our heyday baby,

            A D C# Bsus7 A
Yeah, yeah, yeah

[End]

Hope this comes in handy and don't be afraid to sing nice and loud!
