Cupid's got A Brand New Gun -- Michael Penn

Transcribed by MH and RF from the album "March".

The song is in the key of C#m although I suspect that it might be easier
to play with a capo on 2 and using Bm etc shapes. The song is in 6/8 time.

I've mostly only put chords but there are a few lines marked with
asterisks that have TAB tips at the end of the file.

VERSE 1:
C#m A
    It's hiding in the corner
C#m A
    of every sacred place
C#m A B

C#m A

C#m A
    readies its attack
C#m A B
tears your flesh and soul apart then
    E A E E/B A
    clings on to your back

feel the pain of all the damage done
A G#7/C C#m
and you may notice that this quick opiate
          C#m/B A

VERSE 2:
C#m F#m
It followed you to hell, Ange
C#m A
    a double-agent who
C#m A B
will listen to your every lie
        E A
    and never tell on you
     E A
    just whisper to you true
C#m A7
    promises you silk things
C#m A
but burns the clothes you wear
C#m A B
    gives you leave in heaven
            E A
and you scream that it's unfair
       E A

A G#7/C
