Verse 1:

Eb7 G7
Cannon Beach your such a sweet life
     Eb7 G7
Hard knowing what you're gonna be like
          Am7
When your ocean conditions are so hard to predict
                         G9
All I know is that you'll be there

Know you'll always be there
                    Eb7
And different every time

Bridge:
If your going by the book, this is how the bridge is played
(Play 2 measures of each with no sixth string)

Eb7

Am7

G7

Then do this:

    U d u D u d U d u D u d

D|--5----------------|-5----------------|-5----------------|-5----------------|

If you want to give the bridge more of an impact on solo acoustic (without the electric guitar
accompaniment,) see the bottom of this tab for what I do instead

Verse 2:

Cannon Beach, Indian and short sands
Constantly moving between your coves and headlands
Protecting a section of sea from the wind
Along with me my good friends
I know they'll always be there
And the same all the time

(Bridge)

Verse 3:

Cannon Beach sorry what we're doing
Carelessly wasting and so rapidly using
And in doing so bruising your soul
Burning a hole with coal
I'm sure it's not me I'm too small

Chorus:
For the chorus, come in on 'me' with power chords on the fret indicated

Strumming pattern:

    U d u D u d
e|-------------------|
B|-------------------|
G|-------------------|
D|-----------9-------| x4
A|-----------9-------|
D|--9--9--9--9--9--9-|

                 (9)
I'm sure it's not me I'm too small
                   (7)
How could I affect anything at all?
              (2)
I'm one in six billion can't be at fault
                   (5)
How could I affect anything at all?

Chorus 2:

I'm sure it's not me I'm too small
How could I affect anything at all?
I'm one in six billion pixels that have evolved
Eating your skin but I'm not involved

Chorus 3:

I'm sure it's not me I'm too small
How could I affect anything at all?
I'm one in six billion can't be at fault
I'm sure it's not me I'm too small
And growing all the time

(Bridge)

     Eb7 G7
Hard knowing what you're gonna be like

Playing this for the bridge instead sort of captures a bit of the electric guitar's
part, and sounds better

This was my first ever tab, the chords are all really awkward, and it took a hell of a
long time to do, so I could've easily slipped up. Let me know if there are any edits I
should make.
