Alright, I'm not sure exactly what tuning the original is in, the one video of them playing I could
find he had a capo on the 4th fret and was using some odd shapes, so these are just the chords as best
I could decipher them, you can place a capo where ever you want to get the most comfortable shapes

Intro:
F#

F# B F#
When my mother still was young, her father died of too much wine
     B F# Db
His parents both were hunted in the jungle.
    F# B F#
She moved into the city,in her twenties met my father
    B F# G#
He courted her, the fell in love, and married.
      F# B F#
On a Tuesday April morning, his brilliant brain stopped working
    B F# Ebm
My brothers, mom, and I all sat 'round crying.
        B F#
When it occurred to me that I'd do well to lead our little pride,
          Db F# B F#
And so I tried to find my roar and be a Lion.

  B F#
I always show my teeth when I am smiling,
   Db F# F# G#
I only say I Love You when I'm sure.
 B F#
Inside my gentle paws I have some devastating flaws,
         Db F# B F#
and I'm learning what it means to really roar.

F# B F#
To protect them from the storm, keep them safe and keep them warm
B F# Db
Music was the fire that I shared.
 F# B F#
Taught them when in fear to be open and sincere
 B F# G#
Sometimes being brave is being scared.
        F# B F#
At the risk of getting burned, I tried to guide the pride to learn
              B F# Ebm
To find their own ideas of fire and fan the flames.
           B F#
With other stuff to do and see they left the music all to me
     Db F# B F#
The things that made us lions were not the same.

  B F#
I always show my teeth when I am smiling,
   Db F# F# G#
I only say I Love You when I'm sure.
 B F#
Inside my gentle paws I have some devastating flaws,
         Db F# B F#
and I'm learning what it means to really roar.

     F# B F#
When all the cubs grew up and we were spread around the Earth
    B F# Db
I found one day that I'd grown very sick.
   F# B F#
My bones were filled with holes, my belly hung in rolls
    B F# G#
And I was bald where once my mane was thick.
  F# B F#
I slept and was ashamed, I was quiet, I was tamed
          B F# Ebm
Then they came and stayed and helped me heal inside.
         B F#
Though I had to learn once more to be a lion without a roar
             Db F#
It's not the roar that makes the lion, it's the pride.

  B F#
I always show my teeth when I am smiling,
   Db F# F# G#
I only say I Love You when I'm sure.
 B F#
Inside my gentle paws I have some devastating flaws,
         Db F# B F#
and I'm learning what it means to really roar.

  B F#
I always show my teeth when I am smiling,
   Db F# F# G#
I only say I Love You when I'm sure.
 B F#
Inside my gentle paws I have some devastating flaws,
         Db F# B F#
and I'm learning what it means to really roar.

End with: F# B F#

Again, these chords may not be exact, this is just something I came up with that sounds pretty good.
