• Song:

    Come Said The Boy

  • Artist:

    Mondo Rock

A cool Aussie song, and it's pretty easy to play. There really weren't any good tabs out
there, so I just put
this together. It's not exactly what is played, in fact its more based on a cover I
heard, but it fits well
enough. If you listen to the song and play along, you should be able to figure it out
pretty easily,
and you can probably improve this tab. Enjoy!

Em/A D/A Dm/A C/A
Am(1) G/A Dm

Em/A D/A D/A C/A
It was a party night, it was the end of school
Am(1) G/A F Am
He's head was feelin' light, the first time
She seemed much older then, she had turned seventeen
And she knew some older men, the first time

Am F Am
Come said the boy, let's go down to the sand
Let's do what we wanna do, let me be a man for you
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh-oh
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh

And she said
Dm7 Em7 Dm7
Well I've been waitin' for a long time
And you've changed a lot
Up till now it's been the wrong time
To know whether to come here or not

Am F Am
Oh, now come with me boy, just take my hand
I'll let you see what you wanna see
Come on, be a man for me

Hoh-oh-oh, we've both been waitin' for a long time
We've both changed a lot
Up till now it seemed the wrong time
To know whether to come here or not

Oh, but come said the boy, let's go down on the sand
Let's do what we wanna do, let me be a man for you
Just say come with me boy, just take my hand
I'll let you see what you wanna see
Come on be my man for me
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh-oh
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh

It was a party night (oh-woh-woh-oh)
It was the end of school (oh-woh-woh-oh)
He's head was feelin' light (oh-woh-woh-oh)
It was the first time (oh-woh-woh-oh)
She seemed much older then (oh-woh-woh-oh)
She had turned seventeen (oh-woh-woh-oh)
'Cause she knew some older men (oh-woh-woh-oh)
For the first time (oh-woh-woh-oh)
