This is my second tab on this website. My first being Family by Noah Gundersen.

The other two tab's on here got some chord's wrong.

I actually tabbed this song before anyone else had publicly on the internet
and my video on youtube is where most people have been getting the chord's
from. But because I tried to link it so that people could get the chord's
separate; my tab was rejected twice. While that was frustrating, more
frustrating was that the tab's that were accepted had chord's wrong and
didn't list all the hammer on's or alternate fingering's.

I don't blame this website, seem's to be a misunderstanding. But I won't
try linking it because I'm afraid my tab would be rejected yet again.

If you want help discerning out the guitar part, I'm sure any cover video
now will do. Or just listen hard to the original...

Here goes my third and final try.

Hope you all enjoy this tab, and feel free to correct.

Chord Fingering's. This will probably be the most disputed part of this tab,
there is no definitive right way. Please play them whatever way sound's best
to your ears. I'll post the fingering's I personally use with this song.

Hammer on's optional. Sound right for intro and verses. Otherwise listen
closely to the song for placement and rhythm.

Am - 002210 (Hammer on 002010 > 002210)
F - x33210 (x33010 > x33210)
C - 332010 (330010 > 332010)
G - 32000x (no hammer on)

---------------------------------------------------------

Verse 1:

         Am F C

Take it back, I would take it back. For just another minute, just another

            G

chance with you

        Am F C

Give it up, I would give everything up, every last breath,

                       G

every first taste for you.

                  F G

Just to make it alright, Just to make it alright.

Chorus:

        F C

But its too late, to go back,

                Am G

I can see the darkness through the cracks.

            F

Daylight fading,

               C

I curse the breaking.

            Am G C

The day is gone. The day is gone.

Verse 2:

     Am F

Run away. I’ll just run away.

         C G

Like a child, from all of them to you.

      Am F

Now I see, my most constant mistake

            C G

Is I dont know what I love till its gone.

         F C

But its too late to go back,

                Am G

I can see the darkness through the cracks.
         F

Daylight fading,

            C
I curse the breaking.

            Am G C

The day is gone. The day is gone.

------------

Instrumental break (optional. repeat however long you want. This is where
that solo would play in)

Am, F, C, G x 2
C, G

------------

     F C

Its too late, to go back.

          Am G

I let the darkness seep through the cracks.

        F C

Love is bleeding, I curse my breathing

             Am G C

The day is gone. The day is gone.
