comments help too.. thanks to all who have had thier say, its helped this tab be right on!

note: this tab is right, trust me on this. the intro- verse right here is tabbed the easy way. to learn the correct way, go to the bottom of the tab and read that.

intro: do this as needed and then to put you into the verse:
G----------2---------2-------2----------2----|--------------------
D--------------------------------------------|--5--8--------------
A--------------------------------------------|--3--6--------------
E-----x-x-------x-x------x-x-------x-x-------|--------------------
sm sm p sm sm p sm sm p sm sm p

verse: (sometimes bored and sometimes lonely)
G----------2---------2--------2---------2-------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------------------
A----------------------------------------------2h3----------riff 1
E-----x-x-------x-x------x-x-------x-x-------------2h3------------
     sm sm p sm sm p sm sm p sm sm p s s

lacquerhead knows but one desire...
G----------------------------------------------------------------
D-5--------8-----------------------------------------------------
A-3--------6-ect...-riff-2---------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------------------

solo:

G----------2--------2----------2---------2---------2----------2------------7\\\?-
D--------------------------------------------------------------------------7\\\?-
A-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E--xhx-x------xhx-x-----xhx-x-----xhx-x-----xhx-x-----xhx-x-------xhx-x-------------
   s s p s s p s s p s s p s s p s s p s s

this is done so fast...too fast to start out doing it right. if i was beginning- i would do
this: slowly- really slowly do the 0h3h0...speed up until you can do it really good. then start out slow again and add the pop in there..speed up and eventully you will get it.
the question marks are there cuz he slides until the strings are pretty much dead, in otherwords until you cant hear anything anymore. since the slide is pretty fast this does not really seem to make sense but its right. i usually stop at the 2nd fret.

trippin bridge:
G----*------*-------*-------*-----------------------------------
D----*------*-------*-------*-----------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------------
E-3------3------3------3----------------------------------------
do this as needed. he uses some weird effect and i use my dunlop origional bass cry baby, works just fine.
*= the high notes that you hear are random taps on the highest frets on the D and G. if you have no idea what im talking about, dont worry it sounds fine without.

after he says POP!:
G--------5-7-----------------5-7----------5-7-8--------------------
D------------5-7-----------------5-7------5-7-8--------------------
A-0--5-5---------5-5--0--5-5---------5-5---------------------------
E------------------------------------------------------------------
this isnt exactly how it goes, but the notes and stuff are right. play it the way the cd has it so you dont look like a douche :P
but yeah the right notes and all are there just not in the right amount of times.
have fun with this tab!

outro:
G----2------------------------------------------------------------
D----3------------------------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------2h3------------------------
E-xx---ect..-and sometimes he trows in ----2h3--------------------

Here is the right way to play the verse, the hard way.

slap mute with your thumb. easy, for the second mute you need to mute the E with your right hand and tap with your left on the 3rd fret. Les uses his middle and ring to do the tapping here. the stuff played on the G is weird. he presses down on the 2nd fret on the A and plays the note on the G somewhat muted. really hard to explain. its tough. remember, 2nd mute is the tapped mute. trust me, this is 100% correct and really hard.
