Chords are a tad different than standard (mostly just the Bm): G (320003@1) Bm (x24432@1) Em (022000@1) D/F# (200232@1)Ce|---3----3----3----3----3----| (x32010@1)B|---3----3----3----3----3----| G|---0----2----0----2----0----| D|---0----x----2----0----2----| A|---2----2----2----0----3----| E|---3---------0----2---------| This style of playing in the key of G should be fairly well known, though, but it's for who don't know it. :P Verse 1: G (320003@1) BmI'll (x24432@1)admit to who I am Em (022000@1) D/F#The (200232@1)day I come to understand CI (x32010@1)haven't got a clue C (x32010@1) G (320003@1) D/F#* Em (022000@1) D/F#* Been searching for a few years now Verse 2: G (320003@1) BmWell (x24432@1)if I don't repeat myself Em (022000@1) D/F#Then (200232@1)I'll change into someone else CWell (x32010@1)I don't quite know who CBeen (x32010@1)searching for a few years now Chorus: CI'm (x32010@1)over it D/F#Yeah (200232@1)behind me now Em (022000@1) GI'm (320003@1)just over it COver (x32010@1)it D/F#Yeah (200232@1)I'm finding out Em (022000@1) GI'm (320003@1)just over it C (x32010@1) D/F#No, (200232@1)I don't know what's over just yet Em (022000@1) G (320003@1) CBut (x32010@1)I won't go slow and time can let the mind forget D/F#* GDon't (320003@1)tell me you don't know D/F#* Em Already D/F#* G(Don't (320003@1)tell me you let go D/F#* Em Already) Verse 3: G (320003@1) BmI'll (x24432@1)protect your universe Em (022000@1) D/F#Or (200232@1)make a mess to make it worse CTime (x32010@1)will only tell CYou (x32010@1)and no one else so Bridge: C (x32010@1) D/F#You (200232@1)say you made up your mind and you've finally decided EmBut (022000@1)those that helped you choose C (x32010@1) D/F# (200232@1) Em (022000@1) CHaven't (x32010@1)the slightest clue as to the magnitude of what you're about to lose Verse 4: G (320003@1) BmI'm (x24432@1)guarded and therefore I can endure EmA (022000@1)little bit more D/F#Just (200232@1)a little bit more CThan (x32010@1)some people would CIf (x32010@1)I'm not misunderstood G (320003@1) BmIt's (x24432@1)still an attempt to be egoless while self-assured Em (022000@1) D/F#If (200232@1)I'm still unsure that I'm pretty sure CThat (x32010@1)I am pretty good CGod, (x32010@1)you know I'm good and Side-notes: - D/F# can be interchanged with a regular D major chord except for the starred ones sounds better, lol) - Every chord should be around the place that they're actually played except for the in the chorus because there's no space :\ - The parts of verses where there's two lines of C's can be replaced with: C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) C (x32010@1) D/F# (200232@1) Your choice on which you prefer. However, the verse 1 seems to be just C, at least. - The only time you actually fully play the chorus is at the end. The first time into chorus (after verse 2), you end after the first "Already," playing D/F# to go into the G the third verse. The second time into the chorus (after verse 3), you play/sing the "Don't tell me you go," but you don't sing the following "Already" and instead play D/F# then C to go into Bridge.
