• Song:

Lord I Lift Your Name On High

  • Artist:

    Rick Founds

  • Album:

    After All

Heyy; this is my first tab; but that doesn't really matter.
this is the way i play the song and i think it sounds a lot better than the simpler versions =)

i think if you play the G like this
E|---3
A|---2
D|---0
G|---0
B|---0
E|---3
instead of this
E|---3
A|---2
D|---0
G|---0
B|---3
E|---3

It gives more of a change when you go to Csus
which i play like this
E|---0
A|---3
D|---2
G|---0
B|---3
E|---3

and then if for D if you do a very quick D to Dsus
E|---2-3--2---
A|---3-3--3---
D|---2-2--2---
G|---0-0--0---
B|---0-0--0---
E|---2-2--2---

Make sense?
well.
here goes ^_^

Verse
G Csus D-Dsus-D
Lord, I lift Your name on high
G Csus D-Dsus-D
Lord, I love to sing Your praises
G Csus D-Dsus-D
I'm so glad You're in my life
G Csus D-Dsus-D
I'm so glad You came to save us

(Chorus)

G C(natural) D
You came from heaven to earth
             C G
to show the way
          C D
From the earth to the cross
     C G
my debt to pay
          C D
From the cross to the grave
          Em Am7
From the grave to the sky
         D G
Lord, I lift your name on high

simples ^_^

Have fun with it =)
