It sounds as if it were played with two standard tuned guitars but it is far easier to play with one standard tuned guitar and the other tuned in open G like this from low to high : D G D G B D. What I call the first guitar is the standard tuned one . The second is the open G tuned one ( or standard if you choose). With the second you tick most of the time five times like a metronome with your left forefinger like shown in the tab : in fact you mute the string as soon as you've picked it by stopping it above the A on the G string.
