SkvM (the band I’m in) is nowhere near successful, so if we ever do, I’d just thought I’d put a couple of tabs of some songs we’re trying to do. I’ve worked on this for a long while and it consists of mainly 4 chords. (The Tuning Is Standard). This song is called “Phobia” and it’s about a guy who wants to commit suicide over a girl he can’t go out with, but he’s scared of doing it. I (Gavin) created this tab and created the lyrics, which will be (or is already) on the bands website: http://www.skvm.tk when I can be bothered to put them on.

Chords used:
Em7 022033
G 320033
Cadd9 032033
Dsus4/F# 200233

Intro 2 (also used for chorus)

Em7 strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds then
G strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again then
Cadd9 strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again then
Dsus4/F# strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again.

X2 (strumming fast part is in a pattern, really you got to hear it, but obviously you can’t. If I’m right, you strum it fast about 12 times, but in a pattern.)

Verse 1 and 2:

Em7 strum once, leaving it to die down, then after you strum it, wait for 4 seconds, then:
G strum once, leaving to die down, then after you strum it, wait for 4 seconds, then:
Cadd9 strum once, leaving to die down, then after you strum it, wait for 4 seconds, then:
Dsus4/f# strum once, leaving to die down, then after you strum it, wait for 4 seconds, then:

G-----------2--
D---------0----
A-------0------
E-----2-------- X2
(To do verse, do the strumming once part and the above part twice)

Chorus:

(Same as Intro 2):

Em7 strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds then
G strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again then
Cadd9 strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again then
Dsus4/F# strumming fast in a space of 4 or 5 seconds again.

Bridge (The bridge will be on the “View Corrections” when I fully completed. I’m not happy with it just yet.)

When you hear the song, you’ll understand it. Anyway, if you haven’t, try to see if you can do it. Think of it as a challenge, until you hear the song. Enjoy!
