This Dutch pop group from Volendam, was 'World famous' in The Netherlands, Belgium and
Germany, in the 1960's and '70's. They scored 36 hits in Holland, including 5 no. 1's.
The songs were mainly ballads, and this no. 2 song in the 1968 charts, was one of them.
Their distinctive sound they created was labeled 'Palingsound' (Paling is Dutch for:
Eal). Most of their songs were very high quality own compositions, although this song
wasn't.
