then it sounds like he slides out i do that at 4th fret on A and sounds good tough Riff 5
and the ending bit after sound good on E too.. if you have heavy gauge strings it makes it even better :)

i play the song like this because it doesnt sound right any other way ive tried.
i did play the opening three different ways but i prefer this one... 
ill ad them at the bottom here for you just in case you want them as well...
