How I do the intro: I'm positive it's wrong, but it sounds good enough for me.    
  for the low note, I just strum the A, D, and G string open and then go to Am for 
the main note in the intro. When it hits the high point, I hit C. Find the strum 
pattern yourself, I guess... This actually may not sound like Tom Morello's 
version, but I'd rather play a song that uses more than 2 chords in the verse, so 
I just added a couple more chords for those who can't quite sing like Tom Morello
