“Out Of Luck (single version)” by the Pointed Sticks

Band website: http://www.thepointedsticks.com

Tabbed by Alex Nennig (al27@treesprocket.com)

The song is in standard Tuning, all barre chords, E is the
high barre E, played on the 7th fret of the A string.
I'm pretty sure its in the right key, but in any case I know
the chord progressions are right and its all barred so if
you don't think its on A just move it to whatever key suits you.

(first verse palm muted)

A
I never ever wanted to get to close to you

  D A
I didn't wanna fall in love

A
They'd tell me all the stories of the boys and their glory

       D E
Nearly died when you gave them the shove

A
But I fell for you honey, now I'm feeling funny

     D E
Like maybe I'm the next in line.

  D E A F#
I guess I'm just another guy out of luck, whoa-whoa

  D E A
I guess this time I've just run out of luck.

A
Because you always told me that when we were together

         D A
you were happy for the very first time,

A
I'd look into your blue eyes and figured that you meant it

         D E
and that everybody else was lying.

A
But now you come and tell me that you really like me

        D E
and you hope that we can still be friends,

D E A F#
I guess I'm just another guy out of luck, whoa-whoa.

D E A

A Bb B D E
