• Song:

    Burden Of Tomorrow

  • Artist:

    The Tallest Man On Earth

Totally shocked that this is the only tab of this song as it is a fantastic
song... arguably the best on the album...

i know it is supposed to have strange tuning but i have worked out the normal
chords for the verse parts (i think it goes:)

F#5 , B5 , F#5 , B5 , F#5 , B5 , C#5 , B5

   F#5 B5 F#5
Oh I was sent to find the lonesome place
            B5 F#5
Where I was lost but left to trace
           B5 C#5 B5
By carving riddles on the lonesome vine

          F#5 B5 F#5
Oh but rumor has it that I wasn't born
            B5 F#5
I just walked in one frosty morn
           B5 C#5 B5
Into the vision of some vacant mind

I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THE CHORDS FOR THE CHORUS AND THATS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP

Oh once I held a pony by its flagging mane
And once I called the shadow in the turning game
But I will fight this stranger that you should fear
So I won't be a burden of tomorrow dear

          F#5 B5 F#5
Aww Xavier's on the border of the sun
            B5 F#5
Swings on the chambers of your guns
           B5 C#5 B5
And tries to shoot the chord and light the path

          F#5 B5 F#5
Aww but hell I'm just a blind man on the plains
            B5 F#5
I drink my water when it rains
           B5 C#5 B5
And live by chance among the lightning strikes

Oh once I held a glacier to an open flame
And once I felt like wildcat in the fallen game
But I will fight this stranger that you should fear
So I won't be a burden of tomorrow dear

Oh the singer's on the edge to feed the canyon's mouth
They will go on forever til they sing you out of time
But I will fight this stranger that you should fear
So I won't be a burden of tomorrow dear
