Song: Buffalo Gal
Artist: Thin Lizzy
Album: Shades of a Blue Orphanage
Lyrics: www.sing365.com

Tuning: EADGBe (normal)

This one didnt take to long. Thin Lizzy are using two guitars, and one of them is doing
a bit soloing and some riffs throughout the song and I'm not tabbing that guitar.

Notes:
-Don't play the lightest e-string one the C#m-chord. It sounds better without it.
-Let the final A at the chorus ring (or whatever you call it in english) Hold ivertfall den siste
A'en ei lita stund før du fortsett å spille. <-- That's norwegian for those who are.
-I'm not gonna set up the chords on the whole song but just on the first verse and chorus.
The chords are the same at all of them anyway.

E
Buffalo Gal,
F#m
you've had your fun
B A
Your button's undone
         E
and the time's right for slaughter
E
Buffalo Gal
       F#m
You're thirsty and there's no more water
B A E
Like the lamb on the altar
C#m
And it's sad to see you looking down and feeling blue
C#m
Try your best to get on up and see it through
     E F#m A
In a while you might smile and see the sun
B E
Oww, the day has begun

{Chorus}
C#m F#m
     And Buffalo Gal,
          A B E C#m
they're closing down the old dance hall
F#m A
Ummm, Buffalo Gal,
B E A
  what we gonna do now?

Buffalo Gal,
due to these circumstances
there's no more dances
Buffalo gal,
[Buffalo] all your chances of further romances
will have to be nil
'til I can get it sung
Is a shame your only claim to fame is Jessie James
You know his middle name
That's very strange
Stranger, you knew a friend called the Friendly Ranger
Oh, ya shared the danger

(repeat chorus)

Buffalo Gal,
you must try a big step
You've got a big jump ahead
Buffalo gal,
the show left town
spreading sunshine all around
And it's bad to see ya, ooh, lookin' blue
Dry your eyes and I'll apologise for all the lies
Try a smile and in a while, just in a while
you'll be smiling through

Ooh, Buffalo Gal,
they're closin' down the old dance hall [Buffalo (repeat 10 times) Gal, Gal]
And Buffalo Gal,
oh, you look so good somehow [Buffalo (repeat 9 times) Gal]
Oh Buffalo Gal,
oh, that's such a pretty dress [Buffalo (repeat 8 times) Gal]
Buffalo Gal,
the show left town [Buffalo (repeat 8 times) Gal, Gal]
Buffalo Gal,
take a picture
of Buffalo Gal [Buffalo (repeat 10 times)]
