This should be played at the same time as a two messaure drum fill.

Use a pic and strum the D string and the G string, so its chords with root 2nd string.the rytham is your basic 8th notes. Its a really sick sound if you can get good sound qaulity out of your left hand. 

Note: I would recomend using a hevy weight pick rather than a thin or medium because it is easy to crack your pics on this song.
