This is actually my first time doing this. Though the tab already on sight is acceptable, it really isn't complete. "La Grange" is really easy to learn, and even easier to play. Here goes: "La Grange" As performed by ZZ Top Tabbed by Matt Reamy mattreamy@hotmail.com Standard Tuning During the clicks at the opening of the song, rest. There's no bass played there. I slide, usually from the octave A on the E string when the guitar starts playing. Listen to the song to get the timing right, it's not hard to hear. |-------------| |-------------| |-------------| |----17 -----| Riff 1 Repeated until the drum break, after the vocals |-------------------------| |-----------------h0------| |---0-0-0-0-0-0-03--3-0---| |-------------------------| Riff 2 Repeated until the music break |---------------------------| |----------------1-h3-1-----| |---3-3-3-3-3-3-3-------3---| |---------------------------| Break Riff (X2) |-------------2---| |-----------------| |--------00h3-----| |--3-2-1----------| Then there's clicks again and the bass rests. Repeat Riff 1 until fade |-------------------------| |-----------------h0------| |---0-0-0-0-0-0-03--3-0---| |-------------------------|
