Dallas Green plays this song differently every time, and I find this is a good way to it with a bit of hammer-ons, and a bit of flair. Because this song is quite repetitive when it comes to the chords, you're going to want add your own twist to it, come up with your own hammer-ons, slides, pull-offs, go crazy. them everywhere, go nuts, put some artificial harmonics in there. WOO. Be playful, don't just straight strum everything. Be creative with where you upstrum and downstrum, but pay attention to where I marked 'pick upwards' chords. They sound best that way in my opinion. Mess around with the tuning to make it match your voice best. Try de-tuning the guitar, also try using a capo. I can't find the answer as to what tuning Dallas uses, but I'm sure he de-tunes a bit. ************************************ | ^ pick up (towards sky) | / slide up | \ slide down | h hammer-on | p pull-off | ~ vibrato | + harmonic | x Mute note | b Bend | pb Pre-bend | br Bend release | pbr Pre-bend release | brb Bend release bend ************************************
