This is how I think it's played, I'm using inversions of most of the chords. It's a beautiful song and I wanted to show you guys how I like to play it. In the way I play it it would sound empty with out the notes you hit between the chords. It's more of a melodic way of playing it. Don't be afraid to put your own twist into it. Just to avoid confusion: Em is played like it always should, an inversed Am and a regular C, then an inverted G, and a D is played like a regular D. I like to play the Melody along to Chris Martin's vocals as he does live at Apple Keynote. Anyways, Enjoy! Em Am C G Those wedding bells are ringing up upon that hill C G And I don't wanna swallow such a bitter pill Em Am C G You keep on moving, but, I stay still D C G But I always loved you and I always will G D/F# Em Days of no sleeping Am C G Caked in mud C (Improvise w/D) G All kinds of poison in my blood Em Am C G I lost the only thing I ever loved Dsus4 Oooh oh oh oh Em Am C G I heard them ringing and processioning by C (Improvise w/D) G Umbrellas in the clear blue sky Em Am C G I saw you swimming in that sea of white Dsus4 Oooh oh oh oh Em Am C G And wedding bells are ringing up upon that hill C (Improvise w/D) G And I don't wanna swallow such a bitter pill Em Am C G You keep on moving, baby, I stay still D C G But I always loved you and I always will G D/F# Ooooh oh Em Am C G I loved you and I see it still C (Improvise w/D) G I always loved you and I always will C (Improvise w/D) G Singing, Ooooh la la la la la la la la la C D G If everything that went before didn't matter, so C (Improvise w/D) G La la la la la la la la la C (Improvise w/D) G I always loved you and I always will
