SONG - 'You'll Scream Tonight' BAND - ANTI-FLAG BASSIST - Andy Flag ALBUM(S) - 'Their System Doesn't Work For You' and 'North America Sucks' Tabbed by Ryan a.k.a. Maius (genius101@sharethefiles.com) The tab already submitted had quite a few parts that were off, so here's my interpretation of the song. This is my first tab by the way (hope I did well), so be kind and rate. Bass comes in at an odd time, as do many variations, so listen for the timing. It comes in at about 0:12 on my PC, but differs from system to system. Also, some people like to play double Es after the 1st variation. I personally don't hear it and can't tell the difference anyway. To me the tempo just picks up a bit, but play what you want of course. Tip on learning the song, first get the main riff down, then learn each variation seperatley. Much easier than trying to play all the way through Tuned down 1/2 step (Drop each string a fret), like all Anti-Flag songs. / = slide down ()= optional h = hammer on ~ = let ring Bass Intro/Verse x2 Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777------97----9--7-5h7----------------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|----------------9-------9--------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------0--(0)------------------------------| x2 Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777/9999/12121212/14141414/171717------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|---------------------------------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------------------------------------------| x2 *11s not 1s* Gb-----------------7-|-----------------1111---1111-----1212-----1414-----| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777------------------------------------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|---------------99-----99-----1010-----1212---------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------------------------------------------| *spaced frets 10 & up so theres no confusion* x2 *but play quick* Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777---------14-12--12--14-12-----------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|----------------9-9-/12-----14--14-----------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------------------------------------------| x2 Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777-----97575454-----------------------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|----------------9-9--------------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------------------------------------------| *again, frets 10 and up spaced* x2 *play quick* Gb-----------------7-|-------------------14-12-11--12--------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777-------------14---------------------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|----------------9-9--------------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|-------------------------------14-12-15------------| x2 Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777------------------------------------| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|----------------9-9--------------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|-------------------75353202------------------------| *at end of variation, slide up and let go near or at the 3rd fret and begin x2 pre-chorus* Gb-----------------7-|---------------------------------------------------| Db-------------------|-/5-5-5-5/7-777/9999/12121212/14141414/171717-----| Ab---7--7--3--2--5---|---------------------------------------------------| Eb-0--0--0--0--0-----|---------------------------------------------------| Pre-chorus Gb------------(9)---------------------------| Db----------------7~-9~---99999999999999----| Ab-3~----2~-------5~-7~---------------------| Eb-------0~---------------------------------| Chorus Hard to pick up (hear) the second 3rd fret on A (B note) to the 4th fret on G (Bb note), but it's there. That's it, by far one of my favorite ANTI-FLAG songs. Andy Flag (as well as Chris #2) is an amazing bassist and I couldn't even begin to come up with something like this on my own. Enjoy and please, any corrections, questions, or comments feel free to email me (genius101@sharethefiles.com).
