Song: The First Noel Tuning: Standard This version of The First Noel is a wonderful finger picking song I found in my recent December 2003 GuitarOne issue. This song WAS NOT written by me, but by Douglas Baldwin, so he is the mastermind, I just typed it up. At first glace it may seem a bit hard or tricky, but it is pretty repetitive and easy to get the hang of. A big thanks to Douglas Baldwin on an awesome song. Just follow along it, is in order. Go through the whole song once, and then repeat. When you come to then end of the song, after you have repeated it, end on a full G chord, as shown in parenthesis, instead of the original ending chord. I think it adds just that little amount of greater splendor. Enjoy!
