to build up the fret board with a penatonic scale

fith frets-A
seventh frets-B 
then tenth frts-D
twelve fret ocative-E

all minor penatonic scales 
i believe this is called entended scales
u don't have to play the entire scale every time to make a solo
like mabe only the e,B,and G sring notes on the scale
this can build and easy solo
