Capo on 2nd fret

I always replace the D7 with a C on the chorus whenever I play it, but a D7 is the
chord for it.

And I realized that this probably isn't the EXACT way he plays it, only because on the
parts in the verses where he says "Gonna make it to the moon" and "Some day I-", he hits
E string on open, then 1 and then the chord.
So heres what I do.

  Pt. 1 Pt. 2
e|--------------------------|
B|--------------------------|
G|--------------------------|
D|--------------------------|
A|--2-4------7-8--or--------|
E|-5-----------------2-4----|

Soooo yeah.

G

G D7 G
girl I'm sorry but I'm leaving.
G D
we're both at fault, we're both to blame.
       G D7 G
and it wasn't the other men cause there were other women.
G D G E
this just isn't love, it's just the remorse of a loss, of a feeling.
     C D G
even if i stayed it just wouldn't be the same.

(Pt. 1)
C G
double this drink up into the, tallest glass you got.
         Am D
you know i ain't used to sleeping all, alone.
(Pt. 2) E Am

           C D
if i could get so high I'll leave behind my problems,

take em out with the empty bottles.

   G D7 G

G D G E

     C D G

(Pt. 1)
C G
me & this guitar are going swinging blind into the unknown.
           Am D
you know a song & a stage is all i ever needed of a home.
(Pt. 2) E Am
someday I, will call from a pay phone in a truck stop on the road
         C D
& you'll tell me how much better off you've been on your own.

   G D7 G
Oh girl I'm sorry but I'm leaving.
G D
we're both at fault, we're both to blame.
       G D7 G
and it wasn't the other men cause there were other women.
G D G E
this just isn't love, it's just the remorse of a loss, of a feeling.
     C D G
even if i stayed it just wouldn't be the same.
