if your anything like me, when you saw antonio banderas playing that mexican solo 
you wanted to grab his guitar beat him over the head with it and steal his mad 
mexican solo'ing skills, but thats just me.its not that hard what hes doing, 
it just simply sounds cool, so seeing as i didnt find a transcription of this, 
i decided to put myself to work and help those other ppl in the world who 
wanted to hit antonio with his own guitar. 

-also brought to my attention that the 3 mariachis play this later for the president when
antonio asks him if he would like to hear something, the president calls it "La malahena" 
which doesnt translate to anything i can find... different then malaguana though...
(i tabbed that too so go look at that if you like this =) )

its a good sounding steel string acoustic so you may not be able to replicate 
that good metal acoustic sound he gets but just finger pick what ive indicated 
and you'll be on your way

where i put the stars is where you strum all of them slower and get a nice 
good mexicano sound out of it

and then he does a run on what im guessing is your generic "mexican scale" 
if you use minor harmonic it sounds good too.
so ill just show you what i believe it is, it sounds good even if it isnt right

then the orchestra comes in, and hes just soloing to it, using harmonic minor scale in A, 
if you use the mexican scale i have below it works pretty well....
hes doing nice lil fill-ins in  am so you can do whatever you want playing it
but just keep playing Am in that strumming pattern

the cool metallic sounding fill in he does right before he enters building

the ending... once again, fast run on what appears to be a mexican scale, 
though he ends it in a minor chord... im not sure the theory behind it but it works for some reason..
but like i said minor harmonic is good too
