    Bakery

ok so i figured this out based on a youtube clip of alex turner and jamie cook playing
live as a guitar solo because the actual track hasn't been released yet so i don't know
it's completely accurate but when i played it it sounded right.

  A C#m F#m
I wish you would have smiled in the bakery
                     D
or sat on a tatty settee
          F
at some mutual friend's gathering
         A C#m
and the more you keep on looking
                F#m
the more it's hard to take
                 D
love, we're in stale mate
F A
to never meet is surely where we're bound
                       D
there's one in every town
                         F
just there to grind you down
   A C#m F#m
I wish I would have seen you in the post office
                           D
well maybe I did and I missed it
F
too busy with a mind on clever rhymes
A C#m F#m
why not the rounders pitch or the canteen
                                      D
you're slacking love, where have you been?
F A
Just had to go and wait until tonight
A D
so give me the invite
                  F
don't worry it's alright
    A C#m F#m
I wish I would have seen you down in the arcade
                D F
sipping on a lemonade in the paper cup and chewing on the straw
 A C#m F#m
and I wish I would have seen you in the bakery
                                 D F#m A
but if I'd seen you in the bakery you probably wouldn't have seen me
