Hi All,

Been playing for years and thought I should actually contribute something
back. I nicked this tab from watching Adam Thompson (lead singer of
Chocolate Starfish and born legend) on this youtube video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqvQzK0pggI

I reckon I'm not too far off but please feel free to send any corrections.
I'd be very sad if this song disappeared into the past. It's a beautiful
song sung by someone who can belt out a hell of a tune...

Cheers...

Standard Tuning

Mountain - Chocolate Starfish

Intro - G - Bm - Am/G - C/G

G Gsus
There once was a wrong, thought it was right
G Gsus
There once was a truth that thought it could lie
	   Em
Then they saw
D C/G F/G
They were nothing new at all
G Gsus
After the storm, along came the landslide
G Gsus
Would they climb? Would they swim? Time to decide
	   Em
If I had to choose
C	Am	D
I know what I?d do

G
You wanted me to be a mountain
		Bm
I?d rather be a river
Am C G
Water flow can wash a hill away
		G
You wanted me to fly
		Bm
I want to get high
Am C G
How else am I gonna see what I want to see?

I am for now, you are forever
And behind the rust is buried treasure
Is it gold?
Is it something we can hold?

G
All will come and go (all will come and go)
G
All will come and go (like a river flow)

I always knew
What I had to do

You wanted me to be a mountain
I?d rather be a river
Water flow can wash a hill away
You wanted me to fly
I want to get high
How else am I gonna see what I want to see?

I always knew
There was rust between the truth
I always knew
What I had to do

You wanted me to be a mountain
I?d rather be a river
Water flow can wash a hill away
You wanted me to fly
I want to get high
How else am I gonna see what I want to see?

Na Na Na Na Na...

(You want me to be a mountain)
You want me to be a river
Water flow can wash that hill
Wash it away, wash it away
(You wanted me to fly)
Ooh, you wanted me to fly
How else am I gonna see what I want to see?
