this is a new song chris tomlin put out on the "in the name of love" album with bunch of christian bands. i really enjoy this song. the first time i heard the intro on the i have to say i was fooled i thought it was actually U2. Tomlin just plays it a half down from the original. if your like me playing these chords is way easier than down tunning either would work. for this tab though it is standard tuning. questions or comments jtboy66@yahhoo.com -jon Chris Tomlin Where The Streets Have No Name (U2 cover) (Synth) intro C#-F#-Bbm-G#-Bsus9 (various octaves) C# I want to run, I want to hide F# I want to tear down the walls, That hold me inside Bbm I want to reach out G# And touch the flame Bsus9 Where the streets have no name C# I want to feel, sunlight on my face F# See that dust cloud disappear without a trace Bbm G# I want to take shelter from the poison rain Bsus9 Where the streets have no name C# Where the streets have no name, Where the streets have no name F# We're still building then burning down love, Burning down love Bbm And when I go there G# I go there with you, It's all I can do C# The city's a flood, And our love turns to rust F# We're beaten and blown by the wind, Trampled in dust Bbm I'll show you a place G# High on the desert plain Bsus9 Where the streets have no name (same as first chorus) Where the streets have no name, Where the streets have no name Still building then burning down love, Burning down love And when I go there I go there with you It's all I can do C# Our love turns to rust F# And we're beaten and blown by the wind, Blown by the wind C# Oh and I see love, See our love turn to rust F# And we're beaten and blown by the wind Bbm Oh when I go there G# I go there with you C# It's all I can do End-C#
