Hello folks! Here I am again. This time I have tabbed one song that I mean is
one of the most beautiful Christian songs ever written. And I've also bin
lookin' all over the Internet for this song and haven't found at least one
version, so I thought, why not tab it myself. And that's what I've done!
Enjoy!

If you wander about my last name (Sorbo), it looks kinda' odd, but it has a
simple explanation. I'm from Norway and here we have 3 different letters from
English. The 2 "o"'s stands for a Norwegian letter, which I can not write here
'cuz you wouldn't understand it.
And now over to what we're really here for!

The tab may look difficult in the beginning, but it's not! It's based on the
chords and with a little bit of training you'll see that it's not that difficult
as it were in the beginning.

Tab explanation:

h = hammer on

Whaoo, that the only symbol I use. Well, then you can stop worrying about that!

Verses:

Abide with me, fast forth the eventide
The darkness deepens, Lord abide with me
When other helpers fail and comforts flee
Help of the helpless, O abide with me

I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless
Ills have no weight and tears no bitterness
Where is death's sting, where, grave, that victory
I triumph still if Thou abide with me

Hold Thou thy cross before my closen eyes
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies
Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee
In life, in death, O Lord abide with me

<--End fragment-->

In the last verse, just repeat the last line one time.

There are a few more verses but I can't figure them out. If you know some
of them, I'll be happy if you sent them to me.

Like I've said, I have made this version of Abide With Me and I think it
sounds right, but if there are something that are wrong or you think is
wrong, please let me know.
You can also mail me if there is something you don't understand. I'm just
one mail away.

In the end I'll come with a suggestion. Bring your guitar to church and
play this song. I can promise you that not many will think it wasted time.
Good luck!
