Damien usually keeps his guitar in a full-step-down tuning, with his capo on the second fret, giving the "standard tuning" sound. So if you're on standard tuning, you can just keep it like that with no capo, or if you're on a full-step-down, you can place your capo on the second fret to give the 'standard-tuning-sound'.
