Tuning: E Standard

This song is in A Mixolydian. Barber usually starts off jamming around an A octave
with some other notes in the scale. At Camp Bisco VII 7-18-08 it goes something like
this...

e|--------------------------------------|
B|------10---8-10-----------10---8-10---|
G|----------------(b9)------------------(b9)|
D|-7--7--------------7-777--------------|
A|--------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------|

Make sure to palm mute the low A note and give a light palm mute on all the
higher notes. After a short intro jam around those notes there will be a
transition into the verse that alternates Amaj and Gmaj

   A G A G A

e|-5---3---5---3---5--|
B|-5---3---5---3---5--|
G|-6---4---6---4---6--|
D|-7---5---7---5---7--|
A|-7---5---7---5---7--|
E|--------------------|

Here are the arpeggios for the verse; feel free to play with the voicings of
the chords but the ones I give are the closest I could get to what Barber plays.
Make sure to slightly rake the notes on the first downstrum of each chord.

D|10-----10-----10-----10-----|7------7------7------7------|
A|----------------------------|----------------------------|
E|----------------------------|----------------------------|

At the end of the chord progression do the Amaj Gmaj riff again and go back
to the verse

After a verse or two will be Magner's little keyboard lead. Keep the same
chord progression as the verse, but do more strumming than arpeggios. After
that Magner usually has a little breakdown and Barber takes a backseat until
the verse arpeggios come back in again.

After this verse Barber has his epic face melting Spacebirdmatingcall lead riff
which you are fortunate enough to have tabbed out for you right here!

Barber usually plays that twice before they start kicking out a jam in the same key. It usually
starts off around the first riff I listed and goes from there. Happy jamming hope you have fun
playing the song!
