so its an Em shape throughout the song- you also pick the same pattern it's:

(it starts on 9th fret- you repeat the tab I've given twice and then move to 7th (like I 
said, same pattern) for one run of the pattern, and take your fingers off for the last time.)

pre-chorus and chorus are strummed. You do the Em shape on:
5th, 4th, 7th & 9th (repeat)
