I've been searching for this one for a while and finally found it in an old
usenet (alt.guitar.tabs) post from 1996. I am just reposting here so
others might learn this awesome song. Very blues-y and one of Great White's
best songs that few people have heard. I don't think Great White
originally wrote it but their version rocks.

                 C Am
1. I don't wonna face the day,
              C Am
I don't wonna face the day,
              C C5
I don't wonna face the day,
Csus4 Am
the day, today.

C Am
Long nights leave me stranded.
C Am
Black visions, danger signs.
C Am
No love, I need protection.
C Am
Feels like I'm on production line.
C Am
Daggers of dawn, cold hearted day,
C Am
why does it have to be morning ?
C Am
Cover my head, stayin' in bed,
C Am
too late the luckless warming.

                  C C5
I don't wonna face the day,
    C4 Am
the day, today.
                  C C5
I dont' wonna face the day,
    C4 Am
the day, today.

C Am
Outside, screaming city;
C Am
red lights, hungry eyes.
C Am
Sucks like a space invader,
C Am
the vacuum of it's lies.
C Am
Stealin' my strength,

Stealin' my time,
     C Am
it's rainin' in a world of traders.

              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.
              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.

C5 D5 C5
     Let me keep on sleeping,
D5 C5
 forget that I'm alone.
D5
 One day of faceless living
C5 D5 B5 E5
is twenty four hours too long.

              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.
              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.
              C C5
I don't wonna face the day,
   Csus4 Am
the day, today.

SOLO

C Am
Give me the night

It's more forgiving.
C Am
Hold back the light from my eyes.
C Am
Please stay invisible darkness

C Am
cant' see the tears that I cry.
C Am
I know it's coming,

loaded with nothing,
C Am
trapped in a tunnel of time.

              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.
              C Am
I don't wonna face the day.
              C C5
I don't wonna face the day,
   Csus4 Am
the day, today.

Repeat and fade, ad lib vocals on repeat.
