To my dismay I found that there aren't nearly enough songs by Holly on the net. I have taken it upon
to try and remedy this somewhat. This is a rough guide, but this is how I play it.

Title : Water
Artist Holly McNarland
Tabbed by Chris Angel (aardvarks_of_joy@hotmail.com)

The opening riff is like this
E --------------------------|
B --------------------------|
G ------0-------------------| This riff is played throughout the 1st Verse and again
D ------------2-4 ----------| later in the song. I've added the harmony chords
A -2----------2----2-3-3-2--| below
E -0--0----------------0----|

Chords - Em(022000)
            - Cmaj7 ( 032000)
            - C9 (032030)
            - Dsus2(x00230)
-Dvar(054000) - I'm not sure what the name of this chord is.

Em Cmaj7 Em Cmaj7
I lost my friend near the water
Em Cmaj7 Em Cmaj7
And I loved her, though she left me
Em Cmaj7 Em Cmaj7
She smiled she kissed me, she swam away
Em Cmaj7 Em
I loved my friend near the water.

Chorus:
Cmaj7 Dvar

Em Dsus2
I'll crouch beneath the boat, I'll learn to breathe
C9 Dsus2
When I fall asleep, I want to die in water

Em Dsus2
I'll crouch beneath the boat, I'll learn to swim
C9 Dsus2
Soon I'll have fins, I wanna die in water.
Em Dsus2 C9 Dsus2

Em C9 Dsus2
And every time I turn around and I'm scared they'll see me
Em C9 Dsus2
And every time I turn around there's still no smile
And my eyes they hurt from all the rubbing
And my mind it hurts from my eyes

Chorus

Da da da da da da doh doh
Da da da da da da doh doh
Da da da da da da doh doh

She loves me

Chorus.
