• Song:

    Give me some love

  • Artist:

    James Blunt

  • Album:

    'All The Lost Souls'

Not to be pushy or anything, but I know this is right, it came from the sheet
music. Some of the chords sound a little off on the guitar because you can play
inversions and things on the piano, etc. But it's right, the big thing is where
to put them. Listen to the song I guess, the beginning and ending are the hardest.

F A Dm Dm/C Bb Bbm6

Dm Bb6 Bb Gm A
Me and my guitar play my way. It makes them frown.
Dm Bb6 Bb Gm A G/B
But little pieces by the high way bring me down.
A/C# Dm Dm/C
Mine is not a heart of stone, I am only skin and bone, and
Bb A
Those little pieces are little pieces of my own.
              F
Why don't you give me some love?
            A7
I've taken ship-load of drugs.
       Dm Dm/C Bb
I'm so tired of never fixing the pain.
    F
Valium said to me,
               A7
I'll take you seriously,
          Dm Dm/C Bb
And we'll come back as someone else,
      Bbm
Who's better than yourself.
Dm Bb Gm A
Many faces at the doorway all hang round.
Dm Bb Gm A G/B
Watch me fighting in the hallway but make no sound.
A/C# Dm Dm/C
So I'm standing all alone, and I'm only skin and bone.
Bb A
So many faces but they all look out for their own.
              F
Why don't you give me some love?
           A7
I've taken ship-load of drugs.
       Dm Dm/C Bb
I'm so tired of never fixing the pain.
    F
Valium said to me,
               A7
I'll take you seriously,
          Dm Dm/C Bb
And we'll come back as someone else,
      Bbm
Who's better than yourself.
