Hi again! Someone asked me to put the chords above the lyrics like it's usually done so
here you are. :)

In my opinion this song's rythm is quite easy, nothing fancy, so if you want to practise
with the old tab (which I think is best) try playing with the music and using a
metronome (like http://www.metronomeonline.com/) on 44 (not sure so please comment if
you think I'm wrong)

Remember that for most of the songs it really doesn't matter if you get the same
strumming pattern as the original (just like you don't need to have the same voice as the
singer to sing his song) Nobody plays the same way, that's why covers are so cool imo ^^.

BTW ! Important !!

I heard a chord between the last (Em) of the bridge and the first (D) of the chorus -->
I think it's an A, but I'm not sure so please comment!!

Intro:
[D Bm7 F#m Em] x2

[Verse]
(D) (Bm7)
So long we’ve been distant now
                         (F#m)
Since you set out on your own
                              (Em)
You told me you had to find something
               (D)
To believe in
                         (Bm7)
Never thought you’d ever leave
                         (F#m)
But as you walked out the door
                          (Em)
I pray that you will soon find
                      (G) (beginning of the bridge)
All that you needing

[Bridge]
                (F#m) (Em)
And while you’re out there on your own
      (Bm7)
If the rain starts falling
      (F#m) (G)
Or you get too cold
      (F#m) (Em)
If you need a place to go

[Chorus]
(D) (Bm7)
Oh, I just want you to know
      (F#m) (Em)
It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
(D) (Bm7)
Oh, you can come to my door
        (F#m)
I don’t mind, I don’t mind,
        (Em) (D)(beginning of Verse2)
I don’t mind at all

[Verse]
                                (Bm7)
So long you’ve been searching now
                          (F#m)
But still I can see your face
                       (Em)
The memories numb this pain
                    (D)
Just for a moment
                   (Bm7)
At night I lie sometimes
           (F#m)
Awake in my bed
                    (Em)
Repeating over and over
                 (G)(beginning of bridge)
Our conversation

[Bridge]
     (F#m) (Em)
Right now as the moon is shining
                (Bm7)
I know you’re out somewhere
         (F#m) (G)
You’re doing fine
      (F#m) (Em)
If you ever feel lonely

[Chorus]
(D) (Bm7)

      (F#m) (Em)
It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
(D) (Bm7)
Oh, you can come to my door
        (F#m)
I don’t mind, I don’t mind,
        (Em) (Em-Bridge v2)
I don’t mind at all

 [Bridge v2]

   (Dm) (A)
And on that faithful day, yeah
                     (G) (Em)
You know I will be waiting, oh
       (Dm) (A)
You’ll smile at me and say
                  (G)
You loved me all along
              (A)
And you come home

[Chorus v2] [repeat and fade to the end]

(E) (C#m7)
Oh, I just want you to know
       (G#m) (F#m)
It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
(E) (C#m7)
Oh, you can come to my door
       (G#m)
I don’t mind, I don’t mind,
       (F#m)
I don’t mind at all.
