    Make the Clocks Move

Hey, this would be my first tab. These are all the chords to Marie by Kevin Devine. My
apologies for any errors. Enjoy!

Standard tuning, no capo.

(On the first A chord, Kevin does a little hammer on. To do this, start in the Am
position and just hammer on the second fret of the B string)

A E
Marie, you got me thinkin'
                                    A
Long term and being careful with my drinkin'
            D A
And looking forward to my holidays and weekends
E A
Marie, I love the way you got me thinkin'
A E
But Marie, I'm always workin'
                                           A
Long drives, bad food, stale air, and such boredom
           D A
When I get home, we'll take a trip or just sit around and do nothing
Rent a movie or something
E
Whatever gets your blood pumpin'
   A
My Marie

F#m D A
You're all the pretty music that I need
F#m D A
So lay down on that couch and sing for me

(The instrumental is basically the verse, except for the D. On the D, you start out in
normal position, then move the D up two frets, then do a Dm position on the fifth fret.
Then you go back to A and continue as normal.)

F#m D A
You're all the pretty music that I need
F#m D A
So lay down on that couch and sing for me

A E
Marie, you got me thinkin'
                                    A
Long term and being careful with my drinkin'
            D A
And looking forward to my holidays and weekends
E A A7
Marie, I love the way you got me thinkin'
E A
Marie, I love the way you got me thinkin'

Then, at the end, you do the Am to A hammer on thing three more times, and end on A.

Thanks for reading! I hope this is useful :) Feel free to point out any errors.
