Hi there! Here is another terrific new song
from Lee MacDougall. He uses some barre chords that I can't
play so I found substitutes that still sound good. This plays
well right along with the song. It's a subtle change from
the Em to the Em7 and the G5 to the G. Lee picks the verses
out so it was hard to get the chords right! Any suggestions
would be great:)

  Asus4 G
A little too much to drink
Asus4 Em7
Flickering christmas lights
       Em Em7
It was just another stupid argument
      Em G
But I think about it all the time
  Asus4 G
I wanted just to pull her close
        Asus4 Em7
But I'm stubborn and I got too proud
  Em Em7
A teardrop glanced her beauty spot
        Em G
And she disappeared into the crowd
  Asus4 G
I swear I thought I saw her leaving
       Asus4 Em7
With a man stood by the bar
      Em Em7
And I turned to the frosty window
    G C
As she stepped into his car

            G5 G C
And I can't let that feeling go
              G5 G C
I should have run, but I just froze
                 Em D2
I shouldn't have let her get in

Well hindsight is a wonderful thing
     Asus4 Em7 Em Em7 Em G

        Asus4 G
And the snowflakes danced around
    Asus4 Em7
The blue and white flashing lights
    Em Em7
The sound of a speeding ambulance
      Em G
And a car lying on it's side
          Asus4 G
There was alcohol upon his breath
        Asus4 Em7
And his voice began too crack
      Em Em7
Well "Sorry" is the hardest word I've heard
         G C
But it's never gonna bring her back

            G5 G C
And I can't let that feeling go
            G5 G C
How I stood frozen in the snow
                 Em D2
I shouldn't have let her get in
     C Em D C

And I can't help but wish somehow

If I only knew then what I know now
