                      Lightning Bolt - TWO TOWERS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of this song consists of 2 notes, however it is the subtle changes
in timings that make it interesting.

Riff1:

  A -15-----19-----15--17--14----|
D -----------------------------| Repeat 4 times, then repeat 4 times an
G -0------0------0---0----0----| octave higher using a whammy pedal.
  C -----------------------------|

Riff2: Ahh, a nice bit of tapping to play with. I'm not entirely sure of
the exact notes here, it kinda wibbles around a bit with the Whammy
pedal, but it's kinda a bit like this. You'll need to listen to the song
to get the exact number of times this kinda plays for....

                                                     H P T P H P T P H P
  A -15-----19-----15--17--14---14---15--12---14---10-12-10-12-10-12-10-12-10-12-10--|
  D ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

  D ----------------------------------------------0--|
  G ----------------------------------------------0--|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

Riff3: The rest of the song is all about getting the pull-off timing right,
Once you've mastered it, it's fairly straight forward. This riff literally makes
up for 70% of the song...

        H P H P H P H P
  A ------------------------------|
  D ------------------------------|
  G -0-0-3-0-0-3-0-0-3-0-0-3-0-0--|
  C ------------------------------|

Riff4: This a really nice prelude to whats coming at the end of the song ;)

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------| Repeat another 3 times.....
  G -0-5-0-0-5-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-3-0-0-3-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

  then into....

Riff5:

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-5-0-0-5-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-7-0-0-7-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

Then back to Riff 3 for absolutely ages. There are a few subtle
variations in timing, but I can't be bothered to write them out. I suppose
it depends how good your drummer is as to whether you can pull them off...

Riff6: At around 4'50 into the song, Riff4 and 5 repeat again, and then lead into this:
(The timing on this is really difficult to get, start slow and build up).

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-0-9-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-0-7-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-5-0-0-5-0-0-5-0-0-5-0-0-5-0-0-5-0-0-5-0-0-7-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

      H P H P H P H P H P H P H P H P
  A -------------------------------------------------|
  D -------------------------------------------------|
  G -0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-0-4-0-|
  C -------------------------------------------------|

I'm pretty sure this riff just repeats until the end of the song. I *think* Brian
justs uses a Whammy pedal cunningly to quickly slide back and forth an octave.

 And there it is. Yeah!
