This is a pretty cool song instrumentally, and the guitars are no exception. All guitars
on this track are definitely Fender Strats, but they have a considerably heavier tone
than they've traditionally had on past Linkin Park recordings. Guitars 1 and 2 are the
main rhythm tracks that handle all of the powerchords, Guitar 3 plays a VERY cool melodic
part that accompanies the intro riff every time it appears, Guitar 4 is the lead part
for the solo, and Guitar 5 picks up Guitar 3's part during the outro (it's definitely a
different track, as it's much quieter and doesn't have as much reverb on it as Guitar
3). This one looks weird on paper because parts of the song are in 6/4 and parts are in
4/4, plus
there are a lot of sections that have odd numbers of measures in them, and there's even
a random 2/4 bar that appears after the first chorus. Despite this, the song feels
relatively "normal" when playing it, so don't worry about how the tab looks too much. As
far as stuff to watch out for, Guitars 1 and 2 cut off for one beat at the end of the fade-in
at the start of the intro, hence the muted notes in parentheses. Guitar 3 is a little
tricky to get a hang of at first, but it's really fun to play once you do. The harmonics
played during the little 2/4 bar after the first chorus are kind of sloppy on the 
recording, they sound kind of like half harmonics, half open strings, but the harmonics definitely
sound like
what was "intended," so I tabbed them as such. Watch out for the beginning of the second
verse, as Guitar 3 doesn't play a note at the 7th fret of the A string there like it
does at the end of the intro. The palm-muted part during the second pre-chorus starts
VERY quiet, and there's a big jump in volume on the last four chords, so that's where I marked
the palm mutes as "stopping," even if that may not be the most precise notation. The
guitar solo is very straightforward, just watch out for the kind of random octave jumps
played by Guitar 4 at the very end of the solo and the C5 chord played way up at the 
15th and 17th frets. Guitars 1 and 2 change their part during the second half of the outro riff,
and the last chord at the very end of the song is an A5 rather than an F#5 like you'd
expect. Guitar 5 also plays its last two notes of the song differently than would
"normally" be played in that riff (same frets, but shifted up to the G and D strings 
instead of the D and A strings).
