This is a great song for weddings and the like, and Matthew West is a great
artist. I bought the piano music for this song and then figured it out on guitar,
so I'm pretty sure it's correct. If you want to play along with him, you need the
capo. Enjoy! God bless! -Apollo

Capo 2

Intro: F#m A E D F#m A D E

[Verse 1]:

          F#m A E D
There must be a God. I believe it’s true.
            F#m A D E
Cause I can see His love when I look at you.
            F#m A E D
And He must have a plan for this crazy life,
           F#m A F#m E
because He brought you here and placed you by my side.

[Chorus]:

           D A F#m E
And I have never been so sure of anything before
       D A E
like I am in this moment here with you.
        D A F#m E
Now for better or for worse are so much more than only words.
          Bm F#m
And I pray everyday will be the proof
           D A E F#m
that I mean what I say when I say, “I do.”
      D A E F#m A E D F#m A D E
I mean what I say when I say, “I do.”

[Verse 2]:

               F#m A E D
You see, these hands you hold will always hold you up
         F#m A D E
when the strength you have just ain’t strong enough.
          F#m A E D
And what tomorrow brings, only time will tell.
           F#m A F#m E A
But I will stand by you in sickness and in health.

[Chorus]

[Bridge]:

        D A
Take my hand and take this ring
             F#m
and know that I will always love you
        E A E
through anything, yeah.
           F#m A E D
And as the years march on like a beating heart,
       F#m A D E
I will live these words ‘til death do us part.

[Chorus]
