This tune contains a whole heap of truncated bars that I've indicated using the numbers in brackets next to the chord. If you imagine that each unnumbered chord (such as Fm) is 8 beats long, then the numbers in the brackets are equal to the number of beats that the chord in question lasts for. Hope that makes sense ;) I play it using Em chord shapes with a capo on the first fret. If you'd like to play it this way, just transpose the chords down a semitone (using the built in tool in Ultimate Guitar at the top left of the tab-"transpose") with a capo at 1. I've written "horde"...But really, I don't have the foggiest what that word is actually supposed to be :P Fm Fm Far over the Misty Mountains rise Eb Fm Lead us standing upon the height Cm Gm What was before we see once more Ab(4) Eb(2) Fm Is our kingdom a distant light Fm(6) Fm Fiery mountain beneath a moon Eb Gm The words aren't spoken, we'll be there soon Cm Gm For home a song that echoes on Ab(4) Eb(2) Fm And all who find us will know the tune Fm Some folk we never forget Fm Some kind we never forgive Eb Haven't seen the back of us yet Bbm We'll fight as long as we live Fm All eyes on the hidden door Fm To the Lonely Mountain horde Eb We'll ride in the gathering storm Bbm(4) Db(2) Eb(2) Fm Until we get our long forgotten gold Fm Fm We lay under the Misty Mountains cold Eb Fm In slumbers deep, and dreams of gold Cm Gm We must awake, our lives to make Ab(4) Eb(2) Fm And in the darkness a torch we hold Fm(6) Fm From long ago when lanterns burned Eb Gm Until this day our hearts have yearned Cm Gm A fate unknown, the Arkenstone Ab(4) Eb(4) Fm(4) What was stolen must be returned Bbm(4) Ab(2) Db(2) Bbm Ab(6) Eb(2) Bbm Fm Cm We must away ere break of day Db(6) Eb(2) Bbm To find our song for heart and soul Fm Some folk we never forget Fm Some kind we never forgive Eb Haven't seen the end of it yet Bbm We'll fight as long as we live Fm All eyes on the hidden door Fm To the Lonely Mountain horde Eb We'll ride in the gathering storm Bbm(4) Ab (2) Eb(2) Fm Until we get our long forgotten gold DbM7(4) G Ebsus2(2) Fm Far away the Misty Mountains cold.
