Song: Its Been A Summer
Album: Sticks And Stones
Tabbed by: Shaun Cooper
Tuning: Drop D (DADGBe)

This seems to be tabbed different everywhere with errors. Its a pain in the ass when
u try and learn a song and it aint right...so i thought id give it a go and here it is.

Dont try to play this song in standard tuning though - it'll sound pretty bad

By each part of the song i have put what time it comes in and when it finishes aswell
as how many times each part needs to be done.

Oh and when somethin needs to be palm muted it will have ... ... underneath it.
Also note that the interlude is clean and not distorted or anythin.

I got really confused here. Listen VERY carefully to the
BRIDGE - Both Guitars x4 (2:23 - 2:45) song and u can make out that there is a very quick hammer
e|------------------------------------------| on from the 0s to 1s then quickly slide up to 2s.
B|------------------------------------------| Same with the other one. However, you dont have to do
G|------------------------------------------| this, only if ur super accurate. Sounds OK either way but
D|--0-0-0-0-h1/2-2-2-2-h4/5-5-5-5-5-5-5-55--| if u choose this way make sure the hammer on and slide is
A|--0-0-0-0-h1/2-2-2-2-h4/5-5-5-5-5-5-5-55--| very quick.
D|--0-0-0-0-h1/2-2-2-2-h4/5-5-5-5-5-5-5-55--| << these have pauses inbetween aswell

e|-------------------------------|

D|--x-x--x-x--xx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx--|
A|--5-5--7-7--10-10101010101010--|
D|-------------------------------|

Both Guitars do this x2 (3:17 - 3:29)
e|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-7-9-9-9-11-7-7-7-9-5-5-5-5-4-2-4--|

And finally there u go. If u put both of the guitars together in this song it will
sound pretty good as a live performance or whatever, or u can just learn one or both
guitars if u want! Anyway i hope this helps.

P.S. Please dont forget to rate me cos this sonofabitch took me ages :D
