I found that these chords sound good and are easy for beginner guitarists like myself. 
Just repeat the same chords for all verses and the same chords for all Choruses. Note: 
FM7 = F Major 7
Strum pattern:  C - down, down, down: FM7 - down, down, down: D - down, down, down: G - 
down, down, down: C - down, down, down: FM7 - down, down, down: G - down, down, down: C 
- down!
Same strum pattern for Chorus.

VERSE 1
   C                Fm7

   D                G
