This is my favorite song off of Pearl Jam's latest album Binaural.
I've
only had the album for a week, since it was released, but when I heard
this song I had to know how to play it. I think it is correct, it
sounds
like it to me :) I havn't yet tabbed the solos but I'll get to it when
I can.

This is my interpretation of the song and all work has been done by me.

VERSE
D Bm C
I've used hammers made out of wood.

              A D
I have played games with pieces and rules.

       Bm C
I've deciphered tricks at the bar,

               A D
but now you're gone I havn't figured out why.

                  Bm C
I've come up with riddles and jokes about war.

                 A D
I've figured out numbers and what they're for.

                Bm C
I've understood feelings and I've understood words,

                     A
but how could you be taken away.

CHORUS

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Dsus2 D
And wherever you've gone,

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Bm
and wherever we might go.

              A
It don't seem fair,

                D
todays just disappear.

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Dsus2 D
Your light's reflected now,

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Bm
        Reflected from afar.

            A
We were but stones,

                   D
your light made us stars.

BRIDGE

VERSE
D Bm
With heavy breath,

           C
awakened regrets,

              A D
backpages and days alone that could have been spent,

              Bm C
together, but we were miles apart,

              A D
every inch between us becomes light years now.

              Bm
No time to be void,

                 C
or to save up on life,

                 A
ah you've got to spend it all...

CHORUS

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Dsus2 D
And wherever you've gone,

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Bm
and wherever we might go.

              A
It don't seem fair,

                      D
you seemed to like it here.

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Dsus2 D
Your light's reflected now,

Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 Bm
        Reflected from afar.

            A
We were but stones,

                   D
your light made us stars.
