                           TIM McGRAW - Taylor Swift
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey, so there are a few good tabs up already for this song. But for those of you who
to play along to the record, this version works! This isn't the way Taylor plays it live,
it's the way she plays it in the music video! I had a few corrections on the others too!
Chord Used:
C x32010
Am x02210
F x33211*
G 320033
Em 022000

*this is the way Taylor plays it in the video. Just bar the 1st & 2nd strings and place
2nd finger on the 3rd string, 2nd fret. Then place your 3rd and 4th fingers on the 4th
5th strings, 3rd fret! You could play a regular F though!

Tuning: Standard (no capo!)

This is the picking at the beggining, you could just play the chords!
    C Am F G

Intro: C Am F G

Verse:
C Am
He said the way my blue eyes shine,
                            F
put those Georgia stars to shame that night,
                     G
 I said, thats a lie.
C Am
Just a boy in a Chevvy truck,
                        F
that had a tendency of gettin stuck
                  G
 on backroads at night.

Pre-Chorus:
          F G
And I was right there beside him all summer long.
     F Am F G
And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone.

Chorus:
                    C
But when you think Tim McGraw,
                     Am
I hope you think my favourite song,
                      F
the one we danced to all night long,
                 G
 the moon like a spotlight on the lake;
                C
 When you think happiness,
                       Am
 I hope you think that little black dress;
             F
think of my head on your chest,
        G
and my old faded blue jeans.
                F G C
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think of me.

Verse: (palm mute a little!)
C
September saw a month of tears,
Am F
and thanking God that you weren't here,
               G
 to see me like that.
C Am
But in a box beneath my bed,
                      F
is a letter that you never read,
                    G
 from three summers back.

Pre-Chorus:
      F G
It's hard not to find it all a little bittersweet.
     F Am F G
And looking back on all of that it's nice to believe.

Chorus:
                C
 When you think Tim McGraw,
                     Am
I hope you think my favourite song,
                      F
the one we danced to all night long,
                 G
 the moon like a spotlight on the lake;
                C
 When you think happiness,
                       Am
 I hope you think that little black dress;
             F
think of my head on your chest,
        G
and my old faded blue jeans.
                F G C (C)
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think of me.

Bridge:
         F
And I'm back for the first time since then,
    G
 I'm standing on your street.
               F Am
And there's a letter left on your doorstep,
             F G
and the the first thing that you'll read is:

Chorus:
                C
 When you think Tim McGraw,
                     Am
I hope you think my favourite song,
                           F
someday you'll turn your radio on,
               G
 I hope it takes you back to that place;
                C
 When you think happiness,
                       Am
 I hope you think that little black dress;
             F
think of my head on your chest,
        G
and my old faded blue jeans.
                F G C
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think of me.

              Am F G
 Oh think of me...hmmm.

C Am
He said the way my blue eyes shined,
                            F
put those Georgia stars to shame that night,
                     G end on C
 I said, thats a lie.
