Band - Trust company
Song - Downfall
Album - The Lonely Position Of Neutral
Tuning - 5 String Standard (B-E-A-D-G)
Tabber - Paul Stewart

O.K. this is my first tab so please rate it kindly!
most of the actual noting is from ScoobyVsSnoopy's 4 string tab but i found that the
tuning (Db-Ab-Db-Gb) took too long to do so i've tabbed it for all the people who play
5 string basses. if you play a 4 string you should check out ScoobyVsSnoopy's tab.
also ScoobyVsSnoopy was slightly out on a few parts so ive corrected them. Enjoy.

PS. The tab seems to be in a strange order (i.e chorus before pre-chorus) because the
pre-chorus is not played the first time round (listen to the song and you'll get what
i mean). there is a layout at the end of the tab

Intro/Verse/Pre-Chorus 1/Break
(Wait Until Cymbal)

G |------------------------------------------------------------|
D |------------------------------------------------------------|
A |------------------------------------------------------------|
E |------------------------------------------------------------|
B |-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-5-5-5-5-5-5|

OR

G |-------------------------------------------------------------|
D |-------------------------------------------------------------|
A |-------------------------------------------------------------|
E |-------------------------------------------------0-0-0-0-0-0-|
B |-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4-------------|

you can do whichever's easiest for you

Chorus/Bridge 2

G |---------------------------------|
D |---------------------------------|
A |---------2-2-2-2-----------------|
E |-----------------2-2-2-2---------|
B |-4-4-4-4-----------------2-2-2-2-|

Each note is actually played (by my reckoning anyway) 16 times, there just wasnt
room to tab it all.

FAQs

Q. "what's with all the 'Pre-Chorus 1 + 2' and 'Bridge 1 + 2'? Aren't they the same?"
A. No. With the 2 pre-choruses the bassist continues to play the verse riff for the first one
but in the second one he plays a different riff (aka prechorus 2). Also there are 2 bridges.
The first is the one that jus says "go!" at the start of it and it is all music and the
second one is the "no-one can see anything on the other side of me... losing everything on the
downfall!" one.

Q. "Why have you tabbed the same riff over and over when you could have just put it all together?"
A. I did it because if you lose your place in one of the parts that uses the same riff over
and over (i.e Intro/Verse/Pre-Chorus 1/Break) you can just pick it up at the next point where
it changes from intro - verse etc.

Q. "What is the 'Break'?"
A. The break is the little part after the first chorus where it plays the intro riff once.
