Chords - < > are hammered-on twice during the chord
[ ] are pulled off to open the string for last strum of chord

(relative to capo)

----C---F---G---Am---

e|--0---1---3---0---|
B|--1---1---0---1---|
G|--0--(2)--0---2---|
D|-<2>--3---0---2---|
A|--3---3---2-------|
E|----------3-------|

The into and verse strum pattern are the same - there is a hammer
on and off on the D string during the C chord twice to get that
note change, and the G string is opened at the end of the F chord.

Listen to the song and mess around with hammering during the
C chord and opening the F chord and you will get it!

( ) - Optional chords

Intro:
C F C F

Verse:
C F
Caught in the middle of a crossfire
C F (G)
Lost my balance on a high wire
Am F C
Trying to figure out what to do

C F
Pushed to the edge of my reason
C F (G)
Everywhere around me it's treason
Am F C
I don't want to do that to you

Chorus:
         Am F
Kamikaze airplanes in the sky
             C G
Are we going down or will we fly?
                Am F
This could be a shipwreck on the shore
             C G
Or we could sail away forevermore
F G (Intro pattern C F C F)
This time it's sink or swim, sink or swim

Hearing the song in your laughter
A melody I chase after
No one else has done this to me

Kamikaze airplanes in the sky
Are we going down or will we fly?
This could be a shipwreck on the shore
Or we could sail away forevermore
This time it's sink or swim, sink or swim

Bridge:
F
Take a deep breath
No more time left
This is what I thought I wanted
Why am I afraid?

Kamikaze airplanes in the sky
Are we going down or will we fly?
This could be a shipwreck on the shore
Or we could sail away forevermore

Kamikaze airplanes in the sky
Are we going down or will we fly?
This could be a shipwreck on the shore
Or we could sail away forevermore
This time it's sink or swim, sink or swim
